With the principle photography complete for Todd Phillips The Joker completes. It has been reported that Star Joaquin Phoenix absolutely crushed his performance as the Clown Prince of Crime. Justin Shanlian reports that the buzz around the production is Joaquin owned the part.

This would hardly be a surprise as Phoenix carried into the project a high cache of acting chops with a Golden Globe win for his portrayal of Johnny Cash as well as two Academy Award nominations. It would be a surprise if he didn’t dominate the film with his talents.
