Reacher – Episode-wise Storyline

The story is divided into 8 action-packed, thrilling Episodes. The story starts with Jack Reacher visiting the small town of Margrave, Georgia.

Episode 1: Welcome to Margrave.

Jack Reacher visits the small town of Margrave, Georgia, to see the final resting place of musician Blind Blake. The night before his visit, a man was shot dead and later identified as Pete Jobling. It was the first homicide in Margrave in the last 20 years and the coincidence of Reacher arriving in town on that same day made the police think of him as a suspect, and he was arrested at a diner. He was sent to local prison with the second suspect, Paul Hubble. Hubble confessed to the murder immediately by stating that it was an act of self-defence.

Hubble opens up to Reacher and tells him that he confessed to saving himself and his family’s lives from a criminal organization that threatened him. After Reacher was released, he was threatened by the local Businessman Kleiner’s son. Later, when he returned to the police station, he was informed about the second murder, and in the turn of events, he found out that the victim was none other than his own brother, Joe.

Devastated by Molly’s death, Reacher meets KJ in the diner, where they get into a heated argument, followed by KJ getting beaten up by Reacher. At the same time, Kleiner shows up and refuses to file any charges against Reacher. Roscoe finds that Teale fired her for lying and tampering with the files. Carrying forward wt=ith their quest, Reacher meets his old loyal friend, PI Frances Neagley, to find the hitman who might be Joe’s murderer. On the other hand, Finlay breaks into the Kleiner office and finds his dead body.

Finlay, along with Reacher, keeps a watch on Kilner’s warehouse and starts following one of the trucks. While the driver of the truck takes a halt at the Motel, Finlay and Reacher get their chance of breaking into the truck and finding out what’s in it. But it was empty.

Another of Joe’s contact William Bryant was found dead, and to avoid another murder, Reacher hurries to New York to meet Professor Kate Castillo, where he finds out that Kleiner was shipping counterfeited money to the client in Venezuela.

Meanwhile, assassins have found the safehouse where Roscoe and Hubble’s family was hiding, but Roscoe manages to get rid of them; after that, Hubble’s wife explained to Roscoe how Hubble was tricked into the illegal business of money counterfeiting and was forced to watch a man getting executed to keep him under fear and loyalty.

Police Chief Teale fires Finlay after the murder of another Officer Stevenson and his wife. Now there is only one police officer left whom the Reacher suspects to be a mole, Officer Baker. Reacher went to Hubble’s house to search for evidence and was attacked by the hit squad. But he manages to trap them and kill them all along with Dawson, who was Kleiner’s nephew. Later, when Richard goes to Picard’s safehouse to gather Roscoe and Hubble family, he finds out himself walking right into the trap with Picard, KJ, and Teale waiting for him.

Episode 8: Pie

Reacher was shown the live feeds of the captive Roscoe and Hubble family and was sent with a Picard to find the Hubble family. Reacher manages to deceive Picard into stopping the car and shoots him, but he escapes. Reacher finds Hubble, who accepts that he was working with Joe to put a hold on Kleiner’s operations.

After Reacher joins Neagley and frees Finlay, who was held hostage by officer Baker, they plan an attack on the warehouse, where Picard attacks Finlay but gets killed by him. Roscoe ties up Teale and kills him, and after setting up the warehouse on fire, Reacher kicks KJ into the flames. After all the chaos, Finlay decides to head back to Boston, and Reacher suggests Roscoe run for mayor.
