With millions of titles available on Steam, there are new games being released on the behemoth of a platform every single day. While not every title may have the same level of polish and quality as a well-handled AAA title or a solo developer’s indie title, there are a few very exciting upcoming Steam games coming out really soon.

So, join us – as we weave through the depths of Steam’s library and find out the best upcoming games you need to look out for. Oh, and don’t forget to get a Steam Wallet Code from OffGamers here to prep for the release of these wonderful games!

    1. Payday 3

    Release Date: September 21, 2023

The Payday series has led to countless laughs, shenanigans, and botched heists. With the game allowing you to plan your own escapades, aiding you with the liberty to do whatever you want to try and snag as much cash as possible – the advent of Payday 3 has culminated in some insane hype.Promising updated graphics, better mechanics, and new maps, Payday 3 is expected to be an absolute smash hit the moment it releases.

    2. Party Animals

    Release Date: September 20, 2023

A wonky physics engine, a slew of cute furry characters, and a cartoony art style – what’s not to love about Party Animals? The game has the same draw as Fall Guys; it’s a casual competitive game you either play with a bunch of friends or try to grind out solo.

Either way, it is made with a lot of love, and the developers are super active on their Discord while also adhering to community feedback as well, a sign of a game that’ll be well-loved by its audience.

    3. Cities: Skyline II

    Release Date: October 24, 2023

There wasn’t any real competition for SimCity before the release of Cities: Skyline. Driving things up a notch, the game had better graphics, far more realistic roadways and support for community modding that ensured the title remained fresh and relevant for years.

Cities: Skyline II promises to expand on all that, with improved visuals and an emphasis on the joy of crafting a city with complex road networks and busy areas. Moreover, the developers are also going to be focusing on improving the overall immersion of the game, making you feel like you truly are the Mayor of the city!

    4. ARK 2

    Release Date: TBA

ARK has always been a masterpiece and will be shifting exclusively to third-person for this iteration. Featuring soul-like combat, it really isn’t the most casual game on this list. But, it certainly is one of the most fun and expansive. Now featuring cross-platform modding with support for mods across all platforms (quite unique) – the game ships with a massive new map and tons of new features. For instance, the game boasts about its new and improved sensory-based creature AI, which means that predators don’t know you exist until you announce your presence, either by accident or on purpose.

    5. Hades II

    Release Date: TBA

Journey into the Underworld as you take on the Titan of Time in this awe-inspiring, wonderfully animated dungeon crawler. With endless replayability and a gripping story, the HADES story has always been a blast to play.

Now, HADES II offers better combat mechanics, more enemies to fight against, a cast of fully-voiced characters, and its signature animation style stays intact – with a lot more polish sprinkled in. An absolute must-play if you are into dungeon crawlers and worth a shot if it is your entry into the genre.

    6. Starfield

    Release Date: September 6, 2023

Starfield is Bethesda’s first new IP in over 25 years. From the creators of Elder Scrolls and Fallout, Starfield is a next-gen IP game set in the stars, providing you with tons of character customization options and over 1000 different planets to choose from.

The game is set in 2330. Humanity has expanded to reach different planets, and you are going to be voyaging with them as you journey into the unknown. This game has created a lot of hype, and understandably so! Bethesda is known for creating masterpieces, and their emphasis on next-gen ensures that we’re in for an absolute treat.

    7. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Hearts of Chernobyl

    Release Date: December 2023

S.T.A.L.K.E.R was an absolutely breathtaking game. An impressive culmination of horror and an FPS title, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is made in Unreal Engine 5, providing jaw-dropping visuals and impressive performance as well.

The game will also feature mod support right from the developers, with you taking part in a non-linear story, having you decide your own fate. The developers have also promised Multiplayer (the details of which are unknown as of yet) – but it will be coming on as a free update to the game.

    8. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

    Release Date: TBA

Rise through the echelons of Vampire society as you traverse through dangerous cults and characters, tipping the balance of power ever-so-slightly. Developed by Paradox Interactive, the game is a sequel to the previously acclaimed title, Bloodlines 1.

With the newer title being released about a decade later, we’re expecting to see major gameplay elements being changed. However, just the plot is enough to keep us reeled in.

    9. The Finals

    Release Date: TBA

The only free game in this list, The Finals has one of the best destruction we’ve ever seen in a multiplayer game, allowing you to take down buildings and structures, dynamically changing the map.The game is an FPS shooter at heart – but it tries to bring some realism to Fortnite-esque elements by allowing you to destroy buildings, build new ones (technically) with weapons such as the Goo Gun, and have a jolly good time with the RPG.The game doesn’t try to take itself too seriously and is an absolute blast to play, with the developers hoping that a competitive scene for the game catches on too.

    10. Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon

    Release Date: August 24, 2023

If you are a fan of mechs, you’ll feel right at home with the Armored Core series. Fires of Rubicon doesn’t plan to reinvent the wheel. Instead, it delivers greater customization, omnidirectional battles, and a ton of exciting boss battles that’ll keep you hooked for the entire length of the story.

While not having the strongest of stories, Rubicon promises to provide a more gripping experience. However, time will tell whether the game truly lives up to its hype.

In summary, the 10 upcoming Steam games mentioned offer a wide range of exciting experiences for gamers. With stunning visuals and engaging gameplay, these titles promise to leave a lasting impact on players. Get ready to explore new worlds and embark on thrilling journeys as these games make their way to Steam.
