31 Days of Horror: ‘World War Z’ Review

World War Z does not get much justice. Not only is it a great action movie, but it is a great horror film. Not only is it great, but the film is also smart; well, the characters within the film are intelligent. Even the zombie la themselves have some time of intelligence or innate instinct, which is a great way to look at zombies. Not just brain-eating monsters but having rules.

Brad Pitts is incredible in this film, no surprise there, but Mireille Enos is another nig standout in this film; even though she doesn’t get much screen time near the end of the film; her presence is still felt even in the moat tense moments with Brad Pitt’s charcter. Honestly I wish I we could have gotten more of Mireille Enos.

Daniella Kertesz also killed it teaming up with Brad Pitt. She did not drag Brad down if anything she was a fantastic co-Star in World War Z. Rewatching World War Z and watching Daniella Kertesz I was thinking why hasn’t she been in a lot since this 2013 film.

So I deceived to look up here filmography and she has been working hard with the last couple years with Incitement (2019), Outlaws (2020), and Autonomies (2018). Can not wait to check these out!

I’m surprised that this is my third-time viewing World War Z; coming back to this movie, I find it very entertaining I’m going to give this a 9/10 for entertainment Value and my critique value a 8.5/10.

Even though the acting is excellent and love, the story/’mythology, I felt like the film was a little too fast-paced.
