Marius is a con man who gets out of prison but then pretends to be his prison mate Pete. Since he owes $100,000 to a gangster called Vince, Marius decides to assume Pete’s identity. Thereafter, Marius lives with Pete’s grandparents and joins them in the family’s bail bond business.
The story revolves around fake Pete’s adventures to find people who jump bail. Meanwhile, Vince is still after Marius and threatens his family members for the money owed.
