7 Things To Consider Before Buying A Smart TV

Mostly all large screen TVs are Smart TVs since they can integrate with most other devices and have a number of compatibility features that make installing your extra speakers as easy as screen casting from your phone. It has never been easier to buy a high quality Smart TV, so before you head off to letbuybest.com to choose your TV, consider the seven points listed below.

    1 – Consider The Price

There is no need to pay a massive amount these days. You can get a 4K and UHD screen for a fairly good price. You can wait for sales, or you can simply buy from a lesser known brand. The quality of modern TVs is so good that it is difficult to get it wrong. The only thing wrong you can do is overpay for an inferior TV.

    2 – Consider UHD and 4K

True 4K is difficult to achieve. In truth, most TVs are UHD, which is Ultra HD, and it is pretty darn good. If a TV says it is UHD, it is what sellers are allowed to call 4K. It means that you can watch TV on a large screen and it still looks great.

    3 – Consider Available Apps

This is a strange one because there are some TVs that are loaded with apps right out of the factory. There are others that have software installed when they get to a certain country. There are some that have apps and allows you to add more, and some that have very basic apps and then allow you to search online for different apps to download.

    4 – Consider The Remote

This sounds like a weird thing to consider but look at the remote and ask yourself if you really need the buttons. It isn’t a big concern, but many have buttons just for Netflix, Amazon and so forth, and many people never use them.

    5 – Consider The Seller

When you buy a TV, it is the seller’s job to offer you a refund or replacement if the device doesn’t work. Some sellers may send you to the manufacturer, which is fine if they give you a replacement or refund (don’t accept a repair if you have only just bought the TV). However, if the manufacturer messes you around, it is up to the seller to make you happy. Look online for reviews of the seller to see if they support customers after the sale, to find out if they give refunds and so forth.

    6 – Consider The HDR

If you are getting a Smart TV, then it probably has HDR. This is kind-of good because if a TV show or movie optimizes it correctly, then it can make images “Pop” more on the screen. However, if the content is not optimized, or a setting is incorrect, then it looks terrible. This is even more true when gaming because not only can it affect the game as a whole, but it can also affect your recording and streaming.

    7 – Consider Compatibility

Most modern TVs have standardized compatibility, meaning you can plug in your USB cable and watch something from a hard drive. However, having two USB ports is better. Having one HDMI port is great if you have a gaming console, but two is often better. If you are buying speakers, it is often a good idea to have a more than one USB port.
