A24’s Wild Comedy Crime-Drama ‘Zola’ Heads To Blu-Ray This September From Lionsgate

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing A24’s wild comedy crime-drama Zola on Blu-Ray and DVD on September 14, 2021. Based on the viral 148-tweet Twitter thread from Detroit waitress A’Ziah “Zola” King about her wild road trip to Florida, Zola stars Taylour Paige (Boogie, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom), Golden Globe^® nominee Riley Keough (“The Girlfriend Experience”), Primetime Emmy^® nominee Nicholas Braun (“Succession”), Ari’el Stachel (TV’s “Jessica Jones”), and Colman Domingo (TV’s “Fear the Walking Dead,” Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom).

Synopsis: “Y’all wanna hear a story?” Thus began the odyssey of one A’Ziah King, aka Zola. From acclaimed writer-director Janicza Bravo, Zola’s stranger-than-fiction saga − first told in a now-iconic series of viral, uproarious tweets − comes to dazzling cinematic life. Zola, a Detroit waitress, is seduced into a weekend of partying in Florida.
