Actor Danny Trejo may play a lot of villains on the big screen, but he’s a hero in real life. In Sylmar, Los Angeles, Trejo was in the area when a two-car collision occurred. With one car overturned, Trejo rushed to help free a young child with another bystander. Trejo and a young woman helped to pull a special needs child from his car seat. After the baby was safely out, Trejo distracted the baby while firefighters worked on freeing the grandmother.

“He was panicked. I said OK, we have to use our superpowers. So he screamed ‘superpowers’ and we started yelling ‘superpowers,” Trejo said. “I said do this, with the muscles. He said ‘muscles.'”
“We got kind of a bond. I kept facing him away from the accident.”
Trejo’s message for doing good in his life:
“Everything good that has happened to me has happened as a direct result of helping someone else,” he said. “And that’s the way I live.”
