AEW Scores Huge Multiplatform Deal With WarnerMedia

We are seeing a change in the landscape of pro wrestling and it is a change that many have been waiting for. When Vince McMahon’s WWE purchased Ted Turner’s WCW it was the end of the Monday Night Wars and it was the end of actual competition for the WWE. Fans have long been clamoring for change as they feel Vince has lost his touch and the product he puts out on a weekly basis has gotten stale. Now up and coming wrestling promotion All Elite Wrestling or simply AEW has scored a huge win helping to bring that change fans have wanted by partnering with Warner Media on multiplatform deal. The deal will see pro wrestling return to the TNT network starting this fall. B/R Live will also be the official streaming partner for AEW events, PPV will also host the events.

Executive Vice President Michael Quigley had this to say about the partnership

“All Elite Wrestling is a talent-forward, fan-first league whose inclusive approach to creating high-quality athletic wrestling competitions is already making waves with fans and attracting top-tier wrestlers, It is high-adrenaline, gripping entertainment and we can’t wait to bring it to fans everywhere with this game-changing new business.”
