For any fan of Alexander Skarsgard out there, you’re going to want to stay tuned for AMC’s adaptation of John le Carré’s spy novel, The Little Drummer Girl. Skarsgard plays a dashing mystery man named Becker in this three-part miniseries that will air November 19th to the 21st. Along with the famous Swedish actor, Michael Shannon and Florence Pugh join the cast. Pugh will play Charlie, an actress who is really a double agent and will get involved with Becker. What could go wrong right?
Shannon will play a spy mastermind named Kurtz and the show is directed by Park Chan-Wook, who is best known for his involvement with Oldboy and Snowpiercer. Considering the cinematography of both of these projects, I’m confident that The Little Drummer Girl is going to equally as stunning.
John le Carré also had his work The Night Manager adapted into a television series, starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie, which has been renewed for a second season.
