Amazon MGM Studios and Alliance Home Entertainment have officially announced that the heart-warming space odyssey Project Hail Mary will be available to own on 4K UHD Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray, and DVD on August 11, 2026. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the film stars Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, James Ortiz as Rocky, and Lionel Boyce. The 4K UHD Blu-Ray will feature the film with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio.
Following the August 11th release will be an Amazon exclusive 3-disc SteelBook giftset with additional features including new bonus content, a collectible booklet and more! The giftset will be released on October 13th. Get more details below!
Synopsis: In Project Hail Mary, science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction, but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.
