The NYCC virtual panel for Utopia has just wrapped. With it came a deleted scene! That’s right – never before seen! We may not have gotten a season two renewal yet, but I will get all of the Utopia I can. So…roll clip!
Ashleigh Lathrop plays Becky in Utopia. Someone who is suffering from a deadly disease. It seems that there was some intention of making Becky consider doing things she normally wouldn’t now that she’s out of her medication. While this scene was ultimately cut, Gillian Flynn did reveal during the New York Comic-Con panel that she likes the idea of exploring Becky becoming more desperate as she starts deteriorating. What do you think?
