MINOR SPOILER FOR GOOD OMENS
Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens has been adapted on Amazon Prime and just released last night. It stars David Tennant as the demon Crowley and Michael Sheen as the angel Aziraphale, who are the unlikeliest of friends who find themselves working together to stop the Apocalypse. This little article won’t reveal too much, as I haven’t even finished the series yet and a full-length review will be up sometime this weekend.
It’s no surprise that I am a huge fan of Gaiman’s other work American Gods that has two seasons on Starz and the Amazon Prime app. While there seems to be no connection between Gaiman’s two series, there was a small Easter Egg in Good Omens in episode five involving a rather lax security guard who would prefer getting lost in a good book instead of being on the lookout.

The security guard has good taste, although he should probably keep an eye out considering it’s the end of the world we’re talking about. Still, this is a nice little nod to American Gods, which has been renewed for a third season. Have you been watching Good Omens? What are your thoughts?
