[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11961″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]American Gods is one of author Neil Gaiman’s successful live-action adaptations and I cannot wait for season three! If you’re like me, then you’ll be happy to know that production for season three will begin in September according to HN Entertainment, September 30 to be exact. HN Entertainment report filming will wrap on March 6 in Toronto. We have learned that production will run through March 31, 2020.

Season two ended with a clear path of what season three will expect. Mr. World and the New Gods set the tone that their ability to control the “flow” of information is what will help them win the war. Not only are Shadow and Mr. Wednesday wanted men, but so is Salim. Poor Salim! We have Shadow making his way to Lakeside. And he knows Mr. Wednesday is something more to him. Laura Moon was seen carrying Mad Sweeney’s body away. And Technical Boy is now Quantum Boy. What will we see in season three? Hopefully, we’re blessed with more Bilquis and Mr. Nancy.

Charles Eglee is the new showrunner and we’re crossing our fingers that everything goes smoothly for season three.

While we wait, season two will be available on Digital and Blu-Ray on July 22. Meanwhile, it will be available on DVD on August 20. You will get American Gods season 2, plus some fun featurettes:

  • “The House on the Rock: Setting the Stage,” a closer look at the location
  • “The Second Coming: Neil Gaiman on Season Two”
  • “Gods and Ends: Random Musings from the Cast”

What do you want to see from season three? Remember, believe.
