Reports have come in that filming for the ninth season of this epic series is expected to begin filming in June! Ryan Murphy will be helming the project alongside Brad Falchuk, Jessica Sharzer, Tim Minear, Dante Di Loreto, and Alexis Martin Woodall. This is all coming during a time where fans are both excited and scared over the Fox and Disney merger, worried that such dark content as AHS wouldn’t be allowed, but the show is still going on, with no intentions of ending it soon.
“Up to Ryan Murphy,” FX Networks CEO John Landgraf shared with Deadline, “It’s up to how long he wants to keep going and how many years he has inspired ideas.”
Emma Roberts will be returning for the 9th season, though; there’s no word yet as to what the theme will be. Roberts will be joined by the Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy, as this will be his first time on the show and he will be portraying Roberts’ significant other.
