Anya Taylor-Joy has made quite a name for herself – having impressed everyone with her role in Netflix’s The Queen Gambit. On top of being in The New Mutants, the upcoming Furiosa prequel movie, and Last Night in Soho, Taylor-Joy will voice Princess Peach in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. film.
The actress took a moment to gush about her upcoming role with ET:
“Oh, it is so much fun. We started doing little bits and pieces of it already. The greatest part is that I get to say I am doing homework or work or research just by gaming, which is pretty great. I have to [play the games]. The fan base is so intense, of course I have to do it. It’s so much fun.”
Taylor-Joy joins Chris Pratt as Mario in the animated film, which will premiere on December 21, 2022.

Are you looking forward to Taylor-Joy voicing Princess Peach?
