Justin Timberlake’s Palmer has just been acquired by Apple. Directed by Fisher Stevens, Palmer is about a former college football legend, Eddie Palmer (Timberlake). Palmer has spent time in prison, but he’s out now. And returning to his small hometown to try to get his life back on track. Palmer must face conflicts from the past, as well as unexpected guardianship of a “unique young boy” who was abandoned by his mom.
There’s no date yet for when Palmer will premiere on Apple TV+, but it seems Apple has been buying up quite a few movies. Such as the Tom Hanks led film, Greyhound.
