[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”16629″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s latest update arrived yesterday adding a whole host of changes, big and small ranging from simple bug fixes to a brand new, New Game Plus mode and those changes to Legacy of the First Blade’s ending we were promised back in January.
New Game Plus
New Game Plus can be accessed once players have completed the main quest line for Odyssey and transport’s Alexios or Kassandra all the way back to the tiny Island of Kephallonia where their journey began whilst allowing players to keep all their gear, abilities, spear upgrades, crafting materials, ship upgrades and more. There is also an increase in the max level you can now reach from 70 to 99 giving players that extra incentive to dive back into the adventure.
After sinking close to 60 hours in my first playthrough I wish anyone crazy enough to play through that all over again the best of luck because AC Odyssey is seriously massive!
DLC Changes
After the game received some controversial headlines surrounding its latest DLC and its ending which forced you into a relationship with a certain character regardless of your previous romantic decisions, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s director promised changes even admitting they ‘missed the mark’. Now those changes are finally here. Unfortunately, the patch notes are a little scarce on details simply promising to ‘Adjusted a cutscene’ and some ‘tweaked dialogue’.
Miscellaneous
Aside from the big changes update 1.1.4 adds a couple of extra goodies including a set of 10 fancy new frames for you to decorate your beautiful screenshots of Greece with in photo mode as well as some U.I update for subtitles and dialogue and general balancing fixes.
