This week it’s all about Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn. Margot Robbie plays the bad girl, as in Suicide Squad, Robbie knocks it out of the park in this film. If you’re like me and know nothing about Harley Quinn, you will after the movie.
After a bad break up with the Joker, Harley Quinn is in a fight for her life. She joins superheroes Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya at Gotham Detective. Together they try to save a young girl from an evil crime lord played by Ewan McGregor.
I promise you won’t regret seeing this movie.
Still, in the box office, this weekend will be Bad Boys — with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Birds of Prey is really good we’ll find out if it’s good enough to take those boys down a notch.
1917 and Dolittle are in for a run for their money against Super Bad Ass Girls. I don’t expect the Rhythm Section to move up in sales. It will be interesting to see where all the films will stand at the end of this weekend. Birds of Prey and Harley Quinn are going to shake things up at the box office this weekend. Let us know what you see this weekend and how it was.
See you Monday with the box office results.
Mamma, Mimi, Michele, call out any one of those names and I will answer. There are several hats on my shelf. My passions are photography, being outside, movies, tv, pop culture and anything haunted or spooky. People are my other interest, I love meeting new people and socializing. When I lived in Savannah GA I worked as a tour guide both haunted and historical tours. I met people from all over the world, that was the best part of the job. All of this I can write about too, that’s the beauty of being a writer.
