Avengers: Endgame Coming For Box Office Crown, Will Return To Theaters With Additional Footage

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”24693″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It looks like Avengers: Endgame is making a final attempt at beating Avatar’s number one spot in the box office. While Endgame has about $45 million to go through before beating out Avatar, it’s pretty much at the end of its run. It is looking like Endgame might just remain at the number two slot. But, it seems like there could another chance for the Marvel film to knock James Cameron’s number one film out of its longstanding spot.

Apparently, Endgame is going to hit theaters for a second round beginning June 28 and feature additional footage that we have not seen before.

During an interview with ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis, Kevin Feige revealed the news:

“We are doing that. I don’t know if it’s been announced. And I don’t know how much… Yeah, we’re doing it next weekend.”

Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.

Additional footage? I’m thinking that this alone could bring people back to the theaters. What the additional footage is, it will be interesting to see if it is worth spending money on. Will you head back to the theaters to see Endgame again?
