There’s been some rumors floating around pertaining the run time for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. With there being so many characters thrown in the mix and so much ground to cover after the events of Infinity War, it would make sense that this film would be longer than most MCU movies. Though, there was then talk that Disney wouldn’t make it too long, because they want to get in as many showings as possible. Infinity War was two and a half hours, but now we’re getting word that a landing page for AMC confirms the run time at three hours and two minutes.

Last month, Joe Russo had explained his feelings about the overall feel of the movie:
“Right now, we think the movie is playing well and we’ve had great responses from our test audiences and we’re feeling very good about where it is.”
“We’re still doing work to it. We’re not done with it. Again, this is a culmination film of 22 movies, it’s a lot of storytelling to work into it,” Russo said last month. “Emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate.”
Kevin Feige had also previously stated that they weren’t going to conform to a standard run-time, using however long they could to tell the full story:
“We’re gonna release the movie at the exact right running time,” Feige said early March. “I’m telling you this, it’s gonna be perfect. It’s gonna be the exact running time that the movie needs to be.”
