Batman #86: New Year, New Batman

The first Batman issue of 2020 kicks off this Wednesday with art team Tony S. Daniel, Danny Miki, Tomeu Morey, and Clayton Cowles being joined by new series writer James Tynion IV. In Batman #86, Bane is defeated and Alfred is gone. Batman must pick up the pieces from the catastrophic events and move on.

Batman isn’t the only one, though; with plans for Gotham. Deathstroke has returned and a mysterious new contract changes everything. What is happening in Gotham City and can Batman stop it?
