Batwoman’s Director Steps Down; Casts Dougray Scott as Batwoman’s Father

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”16099″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]CW’s Batwoman’s director David Nutter, best known for winning an Emmy for his work on Game of Thrones in 2015; has stepped away from directing, with Marcos Siega replacing him. Although personal reasons are the cause for this, Nutter will remain on as an executive producer.

With Nutter stepping down, Dougray Scott has been cast as Jacob Kane, Batwoman’s father. As a military colonel, Kane has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Batman, which lead him to lead The Crows, a group that looks to protect Gotham better than Batman. This obviously will put him at odds with the titular character, who he doesn’t know is his own daughter.

Ruby Rose plays the titular character, which got its own pilot episode after appearing in CW’s crossover event Elseworlds. Are you excited for Batwoman?
