Ben Stiller Reportedly Set To Return For ‘Dodgeball 2’

It’s been almost two decades since the release of the cult classic comedy film Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, and fans of the movie have been clamoring for a sequel ever since.  According to an exclusive report from Giant Freakin Robot, Ben Stiller is set to return as White Goodman.

Stiller’s performance as the smarmy, narcissistic gym owner and dodgeball team captain was one of the highlights of the original film, which was released in 2004. The movie became a surprise hit, grossing over $167 million worldwide and earning a dedicated fanbase that has been eagerly anticipating a sequel ever since.

Details about the plot are being kept under wraps, it’s believed that the film will pick up years after the events of the original movie, with the teams reuniting for another epic showdown on the dodgeball court.

Vince Vaugh is set to return as Peter LaFleur. It’s not clear at this point if any other cast members from the original movie will be returning for Dodgeball 2.

Of course, there’s always the risk that the sequel won’t live up to the high expectations set by the original movie. However, with Stiller’s talent and the continued popularity of the dodgeball sport, there’s a good chance that Dodgeball 2 will be just as funny and entertaining as the first film.
