She has been in an HBO hit series, penned for Avatar 2, and will star alongside Dave Bautista in My Spy. It’s now confirmed that she has been brought in for the female-driven assassin movie called Gunpowder Milkshake. Coleman will play Emily and join Avengers’ Karen Gillan and Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey.
Gunpowder Milkshake is about a young woman and her estranged mother teaming up together to take down a male-dominated crime organization. Both used to work for the syndicate as assassins. Gillan plays an assassin named Eva who defies her boss Nathan at The Firm when she rescues Emily from the Korean Mob. Headey plays Gillan’s mother Scarlet, who helps Eva avoid being captured or killed.
Gunpowder Milkshake does not have a release date yet.
