The reason why I’m excited with this casting is because Rosie Perez is a great actress. If you haven’t seen Do The Right Thing, and White Men can’t Jump you are really messing out.
For those that do not know the characters Renee Montoya. Renee Montoya was a detective for Gotham GCPD while she was in the GCPD she was partnered with Harvey Bullock. This was all before she took the role as Question. We might get her as Question in the film or maybe not. I would prefer her as an officer first and giving her the progression to become The Question.
Some of Renee Montoya appearances: Batman Animated series, Batman Bad Blood, Blackest Night, Batwoman Detective Comics.
