Earlier today The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Florence Pugh has been cast in Marvel’s Black Widow film. A couple weeks ago That Hashtag Show mentioned Pugh and Emma Watson on the shortlist to join the film with Pugh winning out. A few days ago a 4Chan post specifically mentioned Pugh as being in talks for the role and they have also dropped some more casting tidbits.
The message board reports that Sienna Miller and Sebastian Koch are in talks to play secondary villains. They also mention Trevante Rhodes and Andre Holland auditioning as well. You can check out the full breakdown below.
Scarlett Johansson, Julie Delpy, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson will return. Florence Pugh is in early talks for the female villain after Emma Watson passed. Andre Holland, Trevante Rhodes and David Gyasi, among others, auditioned for the male villain. Sienna Miller and Sebastian Koch in early talks for secondary villains. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kyle Gallner and Michael Angarano, among others, auditioned for the secondary male lead. Isabella Moner, Camilla Mendes and Amandla Steinberg, among other, eyed for supporting female role.
Some great names mentioned there for sure. Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the MCU would be insane. Sign me up! As always though this is just a rumor but it’s pretty cool they seem to have nailed Florence Pugh. Anyways what do you think of this rumor? Do you hope any of the names get cast? Drop a comment and let us know.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
