Brandon Routh Says Working With Bryan Singer Was Difficult

Bryan Singer has been behind a lot of superhero movies. On top of the X-Men films, he was also responsible for Superman Returns – which starred Brandon Routh. Routh was highly likable as Clark Kent and even reprised his role as the Man of Steel in The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Don’t expect another Superman film with Bryan Singer directing though. The director has had many lawsuits against him from boys and men accusing him of sexually abusing them. It was then in 2019 that the accusations started gaining public attention after four men cited Singer had abused them when they were underage.

Routh recently shared what it was like working with Singer in wake of this exposure:

“He wasn’t always the kindest person to everyone.”

Routh had stated that Singer had treated him well, but he had witnessed the director being difficult with others. Previously, Rami Malik and Sophie Turner have expressed that working with Singer was unpleasant and difficult.
