Coming off her 2022 role as Bobby-Lynne Parker in Ti West’s ‘X‘ movie and Jesse in ‘Christmas With The Campbells‘, Brittany Snow is in talks for Lionsgate’s new thriller ‘Amber Alert’.
We have learned the actress is in talks for the role of Samantha Green.
The film centers on an Uber ride that turns into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse with a possible child trafficker after Samantha Green (Snow) convinces her driver, Nate Riley, to follow a car fitting the description of an AMBER ALERT.
The male lead, Nathan ‘Nate’ Riley, is described as a 30-39 year old – Charming, outgoing and a genuinely good person. At first glance, he can seem disheveled and lacking ambition, especially as a single dad he can feel like a failure. When he’s pushed to a breaking point, he finds out what he really stands for.
The film will be directed and written by Kerry Bellessa. The film is a remake of a 2012 film under the same name that was also directed by Kerry Bellesa. That film was produced by Bluefields Entertainment and distributed by Wrekin Hill Entertainment.
The new film will be released by Lionsgate. With filming set to begin sometime this month and wrap up towards the end of May.
