The man behind the Kingsman franchise is assembling a new cast for a new spy action genre project. Matthew Vaughn will write and direct a new film about a “best-selling spy novelist who turns out to be a world-class spy suffering from amnesia.” Her memory returns when her past comes back to haunt her.
According to reports, Bryce Dallas Howard is currently in talks to star in the lead role. In addition, Sam Rockwell is in talks to join as the main character’s love interest. And Samuel L. Jackson is set to play a rogue agent who will expose the corruption of the spy agency.
The film will be titled ‘Argylle’ and has also cast Henry Cavill, Bryan Cranston, John Cena and Catherine O’ Hara. (Variety)
The film will follow the globe-trotting adventures of a super-spy named Argylle across the U.S., London and other exotic locations. Pop singer Dua Lipa will provide music for the title track and score as well as making her acting debut in the feature.
