Carol Danvers is almost ready to take flight again. According to reports, Captain Marvel 2 will start production later this spring. May 31st is the current target start date. Production should start in the Pinewood Studios in the UK, along with New Jersey, and Los Angeles. The working title for the film is GOAT RODEO.
Captain Marvel 2 will see Brie Larson reprise her role as the titular character. Candyman’s Nia DaCosta will direct from a script written by Megan McDonnell. Iman Vellani will join as Kamala Khan, Teyonah Parris will reprise her WandaVision role of Monica Rambeau, and Zawe Ashton will come in under an unknown role.
If all goes well, Captain Marvel 2 should hit theaters on November 11, 2022.
