It will be Marvel’s first female lead driven story, with Brie Larson taking center stage as Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) and even more importantly, it will likely set the stage for Avengers:EndGame.
The hype for this film has been intense and has sparked a great deal of interest, both positive and negative. What it hasn’t done is hurt pre-sales for the film. According to Fandango’s numbers, Captain Marvel ranked third in first day pre-sale figures. This puts it just behind Avengers Infinity War and Black Panther. Not too bad of company to be in.
Are you among those who have already purchased your tickets to see Captain Marvel? If so, do you have an opinion of what you expect it to be like (Rotten Tomato Scores) or are you withholding judgement until you have seen it yourself?
