‘Captain Marvel’ Stars Want to Work Together Again

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”16712″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]While Captain Marvel hasn’t even hit theaters yet, it seems that the stars of the upcoming MCU film are already looking forward to the next time they get to share a screen together. Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel; and Samuel L. Jackson, who is reprising his role as Nick Fury; spoke with Entertainment Weekly about their future projects and the two delved into the possibility of collaborating again.

Larson: “He’s already begging to do the next thing I direct.”

Jackson: “I’m still convincing her. She’s not convinced I’m her muse yet.”

Larson: “The thing I’m writing right now, there’s no part for you in it! But I will find something for you. I wanna do everything with you, Sam.”

Jackson: “I mean, I can just walk across the screen. I don’t have to say anything. I’ll just roll on by. And everybody will be like, ‘Is that… Samuel L. Jackson?”

Larson: “Yeah, that’s why he wants to do it. For people to be like, ‘Why is he just grabbing a sandwich in the background? So weird.”

Jackson also shared that this is not the first time he’s had this idea – he’s also wanted a similar cameo in AMC’s Breaking Bad:

“It’s one of my biggest regrets in the world that when we were shooting The Avengers in Albuquerque, I didn’t go to Gus’ fried chicken [restaurant] and just walk in and buy a bag of chicken and walk out. Which is what I wanted to do for Breaking Bad.”

To which Brie responded:

“Now we can save it; we can do it in my movie!”

On top of Captain Marvel, Larson and Jackson both starred in Kong: Skull Island together. So maybe working alongside each other again in the future isn’t such a farfetched idea! See how the two play off each other in Captain Marvel, which hits theaters on March 8th!
