‘Captain Marvel’ Trailer Has Landed

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The wait is finally over. Since April 27th, fans have speculated and theorized, made fan art, and waited for the first look at the Captain Marvel movie. And now, the wait is over. The trailer has landed, literally, as it was revealed on Good Morning America at an Air Force station.

While it was not anything near the Infinity War trailer, it was still pretty damn amazing. It was arguably the least revealing trailer Marvel has put out in a long time, as it really didn’t spoil much of anything. As someone who isn’t very familiar with Captain Marvel, I can still say I know just about the same amount about her as I did before I watched the trailer, which is a good thing. There’s a ton to love in the trailer though. Our first look at the Skrulls (however short it might have been), seeing a younger version of Agent Coulson and Nick Fury, Jude Law as Mar-vell, Captain Marvel harnessing all of that energy, and BLOCKBUSTER! Brie Larson looks like a complete and total badass. Samuel L Jackson gives this vibe that we’re going to see a whole new side of him. We got a glimpse of Ronan. We got a look at Mar-vell, we got a small look a Skrull and Kree. I think the trailer did a great job of showing us enough things to get excited, but not showing enough of those things to spoil the plot of the movie. And of course, Brie Larson looks absolutely phenomenal as Carol Danvers. All in all, the trailer was amazing, and if the movie is anything like the trailer, I’d say we’re in for a treat come March. Shortly after the trailer released, Marvel released the official poster that you can see below.

This is what really stole the morning for me. I love everything about this poster, and just can’t wait to see Brie Larson clash with Thanos in Avengers 4. You can tell, just from the poster, that she’s going to be very powerful, and that she could be the face of the MCU for a long time.

All in all, it’s a great morning for Marvel fans as we are one step closer to the next big hit. Are you excited for Captain Marvel? What was your favorite part of the trailer? Let us know in the comments below!
