‘Castle Rock’ Officially Renewed for Second Season

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2694″ img_size=”1200×520″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded”][vc_column_text]Although Castle Rock is still cranking out episodes on the online streaming service Hulu, the Stephen King and J.J. Abrams love child has officially been renewed for a second season. Starring Bill Skarsgard, the show takes place in the Stephen King multiverse and is the most successful first season content for Hulu. This really is no surprise at all, not only is the show helmed by Abrams, but Skarsgard is wildly popular and talented. Of course, this would bring in a huge audience and with how positively it’s been received, a second season was only a matter of time. The show is currently on its sixth episode out of ten, but it’s not confirmed how many episodes the second season will have.

Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason will return as showrunners, with Thomason having this to say:

“Each season is going to be its own self-contained story: beginning, middle, and end,” Thomason said. “But I think that just as the books do, we want to surprise viewers with the ways in which the stories intersect. Just as the places the characters pop up in very unexpected ways throughout the books, that’s the kind of anthology that we would like to tell.”

While no date for a second season has officially been released, you can keep enjoying the first season as it develops.
