[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”10547″ img_size=”1024×634″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]We have bad news for anyone who enjoyed watching CBS’s summer drama series Salvation. Reportedly, the show has been canceled. Centered around Liam Cole who is an MIT grad student and Darius Tanz, a tech superstar; the two present a daunting discovery – an asteroid is only months away from crashing into the Earth – to a Pentagon official. The two must work with the Secretary of Defense to figure out how to divert the asteroid in order to stop both a brewing nuclear war and save humanity.
Season two premiered in June with a 0.4 rating and only 3.34 million viewers, which was a series demo low and 43% lower than season one’s premiere. Salvation also starred Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance and Ian Anthony Dale.
