Reportedly, the show has been canceled. Centered around Liam Cole who is an MIT grad student and Darius Tanz, a tech superstar; the two present a daunting discovery – an asteroid is only months away from crashing into the Earth – to a Pentagon official. The two must work with the Secretary of Defense to figure out how to divert the asteroid in order to stop both a brewing nuclear war and save humanity.

Season two premiered in June with a 0.4 rating and only 3.34 million viewers, which was a series demo low and 43% lower than season one’s premiere. Salvation also starred Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance and Ian Anthony Dale.
