Chris Evans is teaming back up with The Russo Brothers for their upcoming Netflix movie The Gray Man. Now, the director brothers have teased what kind of character Evans will play.
“He’s a really unique character, and this is Evans as a villain so it’s a really interesting character and I think he’s going to get to flex quite a bit in this role,” Joe Russo recently told the Lights Camera Barstool podcast.
People are used to seeing Evans as Captain America in the MCU, even though he’s played many different roles during his career. This is interesting because I’ve always wanted to see Evans play a villain. While he’s played assholes before, playing a downright villain has only been once or twice i.e. Scott Pilgrim and Knives Out.
The Russo Brothers have described the film as a”modern interpretation of a spy thriller” and “a big pop culture film infused with modern thematics and politics.”
Evans joins Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas in The Gray Man. Who else is super excited for this Netflix movie?
