[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”19010″ img_size=”768×433″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]On a personal level, and I’m sure others feel this way as well; Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy is one of the best trilogies within a superhero universe and honestly, just a collection of fantastic cinematography. Christian Bale’s Batman was different, in a world that was made to exist within the “real” world rather than the fantasy that we often see the Caped Crusader living within.
It was Batman’s 80th birthday and Nolan decided to share that a little white lie went into the making of the first film, Batman Begins. Apparently, the studio wasn’t exactly that Bale’s Bruce Wayne didn’t don the costume until later in the film. Nolan then pointed out to the studio that Richard Donner’s Superman movie didn’t have Clark Kent wearing the costume until an hour into the film. Something, you think the studio would have checked out?
“I was able to say ‘Well, Christopher Reeve didn’t put on the suit until 53 minutes in,'” Nolan said. “That statistic is not true by the way. It’s actually a little earlier.”
Either way, the studio didn’t fact-check Nolan and we went on to get some of the best Batman films ever to grace the big screen.
