Colin Minihan Will Direct Internet Thriller Urban Legend

The upcoming thriller pic Urban Legend has found its director. Screen Gems has set Colin Minihan to take on the project. At this moment, the studio is casting for the main roles.

It will be Minihan’s responsibility to introduce this iconic new slasher for the digital age. One where urban legends are born on the internet quickly, at an alarming rate. Urban Legends will center around a diverse cast of college kids, who will make their way around a “series of bizarre deaths that resemble urban legends linked to the darkest corners of social media.”
