No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil’s might,
Beware my power…Green Lantern’s light!

From the minds of Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp comes Green Lantern #2, Hal Jordan interviews a member of the Spider Guild in order to extract information that may prove too late.

Chapter two of this extragalactic comic is done in masterful artistry that tells a fun and suspenseful story. Each page is beautifully done and the colors and style stand out. You’ll see a hoard of different creatures, some a little difficult to make out, but for the most part, it’s a really great comic style that does well in the space environment the story takes place within.[/vc_column_text][vc_images_carousel images=”11338,11339,11334,11335,11336,11332,11333″ img_size=”400×600″ speed=”3000″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”][vc_column_text]Although the story primarily takes place with Hal interrogating a giant Spider-person, there is another storyline taking place that comes into play, especially towards the end, which ends in a daunting and grim cliffhanger. Things are not entirely serious and the comic has some fun poking at some of the characters, such as “Evil Star”. While you may think this character will be the primary supervillain that the Green Lantern will end up facing, things take a turn halfway in.

Without giving too much away, this is more of an interim chapter that will surely lead to a bigger story. There’s a lot of talking and not a lot of action, but there’s a shocking enough moment that clearly leads to a grim and horrifying end. Make sure to definitely check out this chapter, because it’s a fun comic, and for any Green Lantern fan, it’s a continuation of Hal Jordan’s story that will surely be a part of something bigger.
