When I was mere lad in my youth, I had a fairly large comic book collection. This was before people thought about having them graded and what they might be worth in time. Of course, my collection dwindled over the years, mainly because I didn’t take care of them as I should have. When I see what some of those books that I had are worth now, I shudder at my ignorance. One of those books that I bought was X-Force #1. At the time, I just knew that I liked the art and it was a good story. What happened to it? I can’t say. More than likely ended up in a yard sale. As I said, not too bright.
Now 30 years later, creator Rob Liefeld is celebrating the books 30 year anniversary in style. To commemorate its 3oth birthday, Liefeld is bringing back X-Force in November for a one shot special entitled X-Force: Killshot. Giving fans a chance once again to join Cable and his squad in one more adventure.

Rob Liefeld’s X-FORCE: KILLSHOT arrives in November
New York, NY— June 25, 2021 — On this day thirty years ago, X-FORCE #1 debuted and took the comic book industry by storm! Created by Rob Liefeld, X-FORCE #1 was a blockbuster success, selling over 5 million copies to become one of the best-selling single issues in Marvel Comics history. Commemorating the anniversary of this groundbreaking issue, Rob Liefeld will return to the X-Force saga this November with a new chapter in X-FORCE: KILLSHOT! The special one-shot will feature an explosive adventure starring Cable and his mighty militant mutant squad, taking readers back to the beloved 90s heyday of the X-Men franchise. Cable and his counterparts will assemble five separate X-Force squadrons, from various points in time, to converge on Asteroid S for an all-out assault to defeat Stryfe once and for all.
