Details about the dead in the water BioShock live-action adaptation from Universal Pictures are being revealed. Gore Verbinski, responsible for the Pirates of The Caribbean franchise; was tapped to helm the movie in 2008. John Logan had been brought in to write script. Things started going south when the R-Rated project was set to cost in between $160-$200 million. Because of this, Gore switched from being a director to being a producer and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo was brought in to try to scale back the budget. Eventually, the project was scrapped.
Now, details have come out. Such as a script by John Logan, which you can find here. Concept art was provided by Kasra Farahani and Jim Martin.
