Could Michelle Rodriguez Not Return for Fast & Furious 9?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14092″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Fast & Furious 9 may lose out on one of its main stars. Michelle Rodriguez reportedly doesn’t know whether or not she is returning and it is all depending on the script:

“I don’t know if I’m coming back. I have to read the script first. Once I read the script, I’ll know,” Rodriguez shared with Vanity Fair. “When I read the script—and I hope that it’s inclusive—then I’ll agree to come back or not.”

Rodriguez is also rumored to be in an all-female spin-off of Fast & Furious, to which she commented that the typical movie she participates in is something that she wants to step away from, at least; in the sense that she wants to leave room to explore other things:

“My energy is completely directed toward the feminine right now and supporting women. I’ve spent most of my life shooting guns, and hanging out with the boys, and watching them scratch their balls, and smelling protein-mixed farts. And now I’m feeling the poetry and the beauty and the sensuality of women, and the power we bring together. So they need to show more love to the women. I don’t know which direction it’s going to go. But I know that I’m headed in that direction. We’ll see if that all matches.”

Would you like to see Michelle Rodriguez in the next Fast & Furious and would you also like to see her explore an all-female cast of this long-running franchise? Let us know! In the meantime, you can check out Hobbs & Shaw April 26th, which is a spin-off with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.
