When it comes to marketing, presentation is important. At least that is what I seem to remember from my old graphic design class. With that in mind, the CW has apparently released their new logo for their upcoming Lost Boys reboot. You remember the Lost Boys, right? It was Joel Schumacher’s 1987 film that combined comedy and horror while trying to make Vampires cool. It starred Jason Patric, Keifer Sutherland, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, (all the Corey’s), Jamie Gertz and Dianne Wiest. The CW has made itself a niche by taking older projects like the Lost Boys and trying to make them relevant again to a new audience. As of now, the TV series based on the film is currently in production and with that comes their new logo. As you can see above, it is similar to the original films logo below, other than the small drop of blood. Perhaps you might call the logo on the “bleeding edge”? Ok, Maybe not.
