Danny McBride Discusses Whether or Not There Will Be a Halloween Sequel

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”9162″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Halloween 2018 is gaining traction as one of the best movies of the year and definitely a contender for one of the best in the franchise. Now we are all wondering, will there be a sequel? Danny McBride offered some insight recently as to whether or not we should be expecting another installment to the Halloween series.

“We definitely have ideas of what we would do. I think we did not allow ourselves to really indulge those ideas until the movie came out. We just wanted to put all our hopes and dreams in having this film stick the landing. But we do have thoughts and ideas of what we could possibly do. We hadn’t invested a ton of time on them, but now we’re being asked to figure it out. There are definitely talks on whether we will do more of them and we’re just trying to see what best makes sense.”

Whenever there is a successful film, studios want to capitalize and add to it in hopes of recapturing the spark that made the previous film so popular. If we get another Halloween film, it’ll be nice to know that those behind the film aren’t in any rush. Whenever time is taken, a better project results.
