DC Comic Review: Superman #7

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”13583″ img_size=”600×910″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It’s a family reunion in Superman #7 with Clark Kembracing his son. Lois Lane weeps in joy as she is reunited with her kin. First of all, the illustration in this comic issue is gorgeous and it embodies everything we think of when we think of Superman. The bright blue uniform, the moisture in his eyes, and the feeling of happiness when he is around. Just amplify that by two with his son around.

The real story kicks off in the backstory, where we are given what looks like a space food court for most of it. That’s a very simplified description, but it depicts everyday life for aliens. Oh, and Lobo shows up. Can someone seriously let Jeffrey Dean Morgan play him in the DCEU? The whole time I was seeing Lobo on the pages I was imagining it being the Walking Dead actor in his place.

Superman #7 is really simply a prequel to the upcoming issue, for as nice as it was to see the backstory; we know by what Superman’s son told him in the end that he will have to prepare for difficulties to come. Any Superman fan will enjoy this glimpse at outer space and Superman’s family that he has built with Lois Lane. Make sure you pick up a copy!
