    [vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”24171″ img_size=”411×631″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]”There is no justice without truth.”

Wonder Woman and Maggie have their work cut out for them in the beginning pages of Wonder Woman #72. We see that Diana could almost be facing against someone she cannot beat. Thankfully, she has Maggie by her side, but can the two defeat their enemy?

Meanwhile, Aphrodite and Atlantiades have their own mission in righting the town. That is quickly thwarted when Atlantiades decides to risk everything to go help Wonder Woman and Maggie. With Maggie’s burning sword, the three go up against the terrible creatures that look to destroy them.

Not a lot happens in this issue. It is mostly just a few pages of three powerful women kicking ass. Which, is not a bad thing. Simply, there’s not a whole lot of story here. Regardless, there will be consequences nonetheless. Paths they can no longer journey to. Pathways to worlds closing forever. We will have to see where everything leads them next. As Diana says in the last panel, where they are going she’s been before. And she barely escaped with her life.

As always, the illustration for the Wonder Woman series is gorgeous. The design of the characters are well-done and beautiful. The battles were clear and action-packed. Be sure to get your copy of Wonder Woman #72!
