DC Comics Announces ‘Dark Nights: Death Metal’ Series Featuring Dino-Batman & More

DC Comics has just unveiled plans for their newest seriesĀ Dark Nights: Death Metal set to unfold over the next several months. The team behind Dark Nights: Metal andĀ Batman: The Last Knight on EarthĀ will launch this new seven-issue series withĀ Dark Nights: Death Metal #1Ā on June 16. Plus, ahead of a planned skip month in September, DC will also be releasing two one shots in August with really juicy storylines.

A week afterĀ Dark Nights: Death MetalĀ #3 publishes on August 11, the world ofĀ Dark Nights:Ā MetalĀ expands withĀ Dark Nights: Death MetalĀ GuidebookĀ to include stories by Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Joshua Williamson, Becky Cloonan, Vita Ayala, Chip Zdarsky, Christopher Priest, Doug Mahnke, Dan Panosian, Eduardo Risso, and Khary Randolph! Collected inĀ Dark Nights: Death MetalĀ GuidebookĀ #1 on August 18 with a cover by Yasmine Putri, the stories in this one-shot showcase the new factions of Earth and explore the mystery of what happened to the Justice League after their battle with Perpetua.

Daniel, Jim Cheung, JoĆ«lle Jones, Riley Rossmo, and Francesco Francavilla.
