“It’s a mystery in space: Why would the Guardians of the Universe hide top-secret intel deep in the bowels of a secret vault on Thanagar Prime? That’s what Martian Manhunter, GL and Hawkgirl want to know! That’s not the only puzzler popping off either, as an ancient connection that bonds Kendra and Shayera Hol unlocks the secret of the map on Hawkgirl’s Dark Metal wings. Back on Earth, Starman and the Trinity look to create a wormhole that could transport them to Thanagar Prime. The only catch? It could vaporize them!” – Dc Comics

What I loved most about Justice League #16 is the art. The emotions being drawn in Justice League 16 is the standout. From Kilowog disappointment in John Stewart to John Jones confusion when he finds out the truth and his involvement with the truth. Justice League has been doing a perfect job with its color they are so vibrant. It gives you that feeling of hope within these stories, unlike the DCEU (Just Kidding), but on another note, The art in Dc Comics have not let me down thus far.

Now the story, there is a lot of information to take all at once. Just like how John Jones was overwhelmed, so was I, but once I digested all that information. I thought it was really cool how they integrated The History of the Universe and Martian Manhunter’s back story. I love how Scott Snyder, James T Tynion IV writes their characters, the character interactions are amazing, for example why Kilowog was disappointed with John Stewart or Shayera justifying herself to Kendra.

If you are not caught up with Justice League you I suggest you start because things are getting intense. We got some answers from this issue, but we also got more questions that are going to be answered soon.
