[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”15682″ img_size=”400×611″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It is non-stop bad-assery in the latest Detective Comics (#998)! This may be a detective comic book series, but the action is constant, consistent, and again, badass in this latest issue.
Batman is full-on in caped crusader mode and he’s up against Hugo Strange and his usual, well, strange experiments. Can someone say will the real Batman please stand up? Okay, bad joke, but still – Bruce Wayne has a lot on his plate, but it’s nothing that the dark knight can’t handle. As he investigates more into the wackiness that is going on in Gotham, he realizes it’s time to get his hands dirty.
Batman has some fantastic lines in this one and I’m not sure if it’s a spoiler, but I literally got chills when he shouted: “do you think I’m afraid of hell?” Honestly, this is the Batman we all deserve – someone who is investigating, has all the gadgets, the suits, and the powerful attitude. I cannot describe how I threw my head back in joy when reading this series and seeing Batman kick ass.
And as usual with this series, it ended on a cliffhanger and I couldn’t help but wonder “how is Batman going to get himself out of this one?” But, we know he will, because it’s what he does. 100% you NEED to pick this issue up, you will not regret it and I hope you are freaking out just as much as I am.[/vc_column_text][vc_images_carousel images=”15683,15677,15678,15679,15680,15681″ img_size=”400×611″ speed=”3000″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
